The Challenge


Manning wanted to redesign manning.com to increase user engagement and user experience on their website. Manning had many features in their minds such as Manning Early Access Program (MEAP), Deals of days, New release and best seller listing, search by title etc.

Understanding publication business and drafting solutions were a great challenge. The client wanted to roll out this redesign in 3 months of timeframe.

The traditional engagement and delivery practices have come to represent bottlenecks. So, Sunflower Lab focused client interaction and working software over heavy documentation describing what client wants. Client collaboration to understand business challenges and their goal.

Our team made sure that with many new functionality and features do not overwhelm user experience. Sunflower designed this application keeping user experience in the core. We also made sure that we are not the over-valuing opinion of a small subset of users. Cross-domain integration helped to other available information to manning.com domain.
